Food and Cooking class – cooking without waste
GREEN CO-CREATION
Our food consumption today is threatening the climate, environment as well as food security.
Third of all food produced goes to trash. Simultaneously the resources needed for food production (water, electricity, labour, money) is wasted. Packaging of our food is often single-use and pollutes our environments through production, use and waste.
In this 4 hours cooking workshop we will get insights into how food could be sustainably produced and consumed. We will also cook with greens, which would be thrown away otherwise, learn how to evaluate the quality of the fruit and vegetables and create a dish. The food comes from Løs Market, which is a zero-waste and organic supermarketWe will end with a cozy family style dinner and share Danish hygge culture.
