  Arrival in Berlin

                                                                              Saturday:

 10am: Join our bike tour around Berlin. On this tour you will experience amazing green spaces, green architecture, urban sustainable planning, energy efficient buildings, recycling management, green roofs, solar installations, biking and bike culture and water management. The tour begins at the bike shop in Blücherstrasse.

1pm: After the bike tour, it is time for lunch! A lovely spot for this, is at café Prinzessingärten which is located in an urban garden in Kreutzberg. This urban garden is a social-ecological urban farming project with a 10-year history of local community building and regenerative agriculture.

4pm: If the weather allows it, go to The Badeschiff to take a swim and enjoy the weather. The badeshiff is a unique swimming pool floating inside the spree river in Berlin Kreuzberg.

7pm: Dinner at vegan restaurant Kopps (mitte). The restaurant was chosen as one of the best vegan restaurants in the world by CNN. The restaurant is categorized as ‘vegan fine dining’ and therefore the prices are a bit high, however its all worth it.

9pm: Having spent an entire day in the sun, the evening is perfect to end with a vegan icecream at Balaram. Balaram is a 100% vegan ice cream shop with many different delicious varieties. They are definitely worth a visit for both the vegan lovers and those who are still doubting about the vegan lifestyle.

                                                                              Sunday:

9am: Kick of the day in the right way with coffee and breakfast at LÜCK’S (Friedrichshain). They offer everything from vegan brunch to plain breakfast but are especially known for their weekend brunch. Pick up some food and enjoy it with a cup of coffee in the park right next to the café.

12pm: Lunch at the mini-society at Holzmarkt 25. Here has an alternative urban mini-society developed.  It’s located by the Spree river and focuses on creativity and sustainability in the city development. A village within the city with 20 different projects and companies within art, culture, restauration, food, live music, urban farming and even a kindergarten.

2pm: Go by Brammibal’s donuts if you are craving something sweet as they offer handmade vegan donuts and bagels to go.

3pm: Take a walk around Babelsberg Palace which is on the UNESCO world heritage list and is located right next to the river. The palace is surrounded by terraces with mosaics, sculptures, beautifully arranged flowerbeds and a gothic fountain. Perfect location for an afternoon stroll!

6pm: Have dinner at Vedang – plant burger. Here you can enjoy a burger with good conscious as all the dishes are vegan.
