Following up on last weeks’ #whatson, which listed our favourite places for to go food and coffee in Copenhagen, the time has now come for another one of our favorite cities! That is of course Berlin. Read here and get inspired! PS, all of the restaurants etc. are open for business, however with restrictions and only for takeout

  • LÜCK’S (Friedrichshain):

If you are in the mood for vegan brunch or just breakfast – look no more! Lück’s offers appetizing vegan meals and are especially known for their weekend vegan brunch. Buy some breakfast and enjoy it with a cup of coffee in the park right next to the cafe.

  • Balaram (Friedrichshain):

The lovely spring weather certainly calls for ice cream. Balaram is a 100% vegan ice cream shop with many different delicious varieties. They are definitely worth a visit for both the vegan lovers and those who are still doubting about the vegan lifestyle.

  • Kopps (Mitte)

Kopps is good for every occasion, dinner, brunch or just a casual cup of coffee. The vegan restaurant was chosen as one of the best vegan restaurants in the world by CNN. The restaurant is categorized as  ‘vegan fine dining’ and therefore the prices are a bit high, however its all worth it!

  • Haferkater (Prenzl’Berg, Friedrichshain, Mitte)

Haferkater is specialized in slow water-cooked porridge bowls with all kinds of topping just as granola, fresh fruit etc. Choices are both vegan and vegetarian. Perfect for to-go breakfast in the park.

Eberswalder Str.26, 10437 Berlin

  • Brammibal’s Donuts

If you are craving something sweet this vegan donut shop is definitely worth a visit. They offer fresh handmade donuts and bagels to-go.

Danzinger str.65, 10435 Berlin.

  • Vedang – plant burger

Of course there is also something in the ”unhealthy” category. However, all the dishes are vegan so you can eat your burger and fries with good conscious.
