If you don’t know what to do this weekend (or Friday at 3pm) just read along here, as we take a look at our sustainable walking tour in Cool Copenhagen (also known as tour 2).
On this tour you get a is mix of classical highlights and hidden gems in Copenhagen. Furthermore, you will be able to relate history, culture and future policies to the 3 pillars of sustainability – environmental, social and economic. We will also touch upon the relevant Sustainability Development Goals from UN at each stop.
The tour is four kilometres and starts at the Marble bridge by Christiansborg castle and ends at Torvehallerne close to Nørreport. Torvehallerne offers a variety of delicious vegan food and a cozy setting for lunch. On the tour you get to explore the sustainable city together with our green guide and we guarantee you that our tours will leave you with tons of information. The tours are for everyone who is curious about this field! All of our green guides have an in-depth understanding and knowledge about sustainable topics.
The tour is packed with fun and interesting facts about the sustainable Copenhagen. In front of the entrance of Folketinget we talk about Danish welfare society and social sustainability as our new Danish green government has announced a binding climate goal/law to ensure 70% reduction of greenhouse gases in 2030 compared to 1990 and co2-neutral by 2050. Pretty cool!
This tour is both a public tour which you can join every Friday at 3pm. But also, a private tour for you and your own group! Read more and book here: https://greenbiketours.org/vare/copenhagen-tour-2/
